1. Information from letter of 26th January from Pat Westcott (daughter) to Paul. Thomas was living with them at 71 Stanley Hill Avenue, Amersham but had been ailing for some years. Eventually he went into full time residential care in March 1997 at The Ker Marie Nursing Home, Princes Risborough. On 23rd November he had a fall and it was found that he had broken his pelvis. He was admitted next day (24th) to Stoke Mandeville hospital for bed rest and physio. This was not to be and he died in the early morning after a restless night.
Thomas married Ivy Hilda Duce [970] [MRIN: 222] on 10 May 1930 in St.Marks, N.Kennington, London. (Ivy Hilda Duce [970] was born on 11 Mar 1904.)
